The group of participants in the outing on Sunday, May 24, 2026, to the fault of El Guix, the Soldevila stream, and the La Malesa oak grove (Sallent, Bages), that was organized by both the Geoparc de la Catalunya Central and the Delegació del Bages de la ICHN and led by Florenci Vallès, in front of one of the faults of El Guix fault complex that the FGC railway trench cuts north-south and displays. The fault of El Guix is the southernmost geological structure in the Llobregat basin resulting from the Pyrenean orogeny.
