In 23rd March 2008, Easter Sunday, the summit of Montcau mountain got up covered by snow, although it was already spring. Thus, the snow caught the yellow narcissus in blossom on the ridges. The two ice pits in the neighbouring range of L’Obac proof that, years ago, people relied on snow in the area. This snowfall in spring time reached just the highest areas of the district: Montcau and ridges nearby, the village of L’Estany and the high skirts of Moià, the summits of Montserrat and, a little bit, the flat mountain of cal Torre.
