The stream of Conangle (Balsareny) is frozen in the morning of beginning of December 2017, after several cold days with temperature below 0ºC. It’s worth realize that the water of stream of Conangle is still saline, although it freezes now, since the saline dump hill of Vilafruns was covered and restored.
Cold days leave a thick layer of ice in most of ponds of the streams in the district of Bages, where water doesn’t turn over fast.
