Tablelands in the south-west of Bages

The south-west area of district of Bages is made of overlaped plains in so-called tabular relief type which can clearly be appraised from a distance. The sunset in winter, as seen from Manresa, outlines the tableland pattern in the horizon (1st photo). The 3rd photo is taken from the tabular summit of Collbaix, where the flat culminating stratum of conglomerate that keeps this relief model can be seen in the foreground.
