The group of ICHN-Bages by the monument to the peace that is dedicated to the president Lluís Companys and all other people that suffered exile and repression because the civil war and the dictatorship of Franco, in the mountain pass of Manrella (La Vajol [Alt Empordà] and Les Illes [Vallespir]), one of the boundaries that hundreds of thousand people crossed to enter to France trying to escape from the army and the regime of Franco in winter of 1938-39.
The irrational hatred against freedom and rights of Catalonia that caused such tragedy repeats now, in year 2017, with the violent repression by the Spanish government against the Catalans, with people and more than half of the legal government of Catalonia in prison and remaining members in the exile to have sustained rights of people in Catalonia. 04.11.2017.
