Observation of the ichnites (= fossil footprints) in the mountain of Cardona castle during the outing of 02.12.06 according to the program 2006-07of guided excursions to natural areas of Llobregat basin. Some years ago, these footprints appeared after a landslide in the slope of the road. They’re engraved on the surface of this sandstone layer that is really leant by the anticlinal of Cardona. Footprints of a tri-dactil mammal and a bird can be traced.
