Hygrophorus russula is an edible mushroom that grows in the evergreen forest. However it is not well known in Bages district because large evergreen forests are only found in the area of Mura, under natural park of Sant Llorenç del Munt i L’Obac protection. The cap has stripes or spots of scarlet or red wine colour on top, which outstand on main white color of grills and stipe.
